Jim and his family have lived in the Longridge area for over thirty years. He has two sons and three young granddaughters.

Jim grew up on a small farm in Chipping. He attended St Cecilia's RC High school in Longridge where he completed his Secondary Education.

Since 1979, Jim has travelled widely across the country erecting farm buildings. In 1988 Jim incorporated ‘Farm Plus’ which specialises in environmentally sourced, timber farm buildings.

He joined the Longridge Town Council in 1995 representing the Alston Ward. He has also served as The Mayor of Longridge on three occasions.

Jim has a strong commitment to the local community and pledges to  do the best for everyone regardless of how challenging this may be.
