Key dates for the Grimsargh Bridge Widening works

16th of February, 2026

The upcoming key dates are as follows:

10th March: Temporary Traffic Signals are re-implemented to facilitate the safe installation of the southern abutment, these will be needed for up to 6 weeks until Mid-April.
17th March: An overnight closure is required from 10pm until 5:45am the following morning to allow the bridge beams to be lifted in place from the road via crane.
April 2026: Further overnight closures from 10pm until 5:45am for approximately two weeks to complete surfacing and road marking works.
May 2026: Works are complete.
